Who is responsible

I am the data controller for the details you submit through the audit request form on this site.

What I collect

Company name, website URL, email address, the project size range and note if you choose to fill them in, and the date of your request. Your browser also sends technical data such as your IP address to the hosting provider when you visit. When you submit the form I store a one-way hash of your IP address for up to 24 hours to limit spam. The hash cannot be turned back into your address.

Why I use it, and the legal basis

To prepare and email you the audit you asked for, and to reply to anything you wrote in the note. The legal basis is taking steps at your request, and my legitimate interest in running my business and answering enquiries.

If you take up the offer of a call or a website project, I will use the same details to arrange it. I do not sell your data and I do not use it to build profiles.

Who else handles it

Vercel hosts this site. Neon stores the request records in a database. Resend delivers the notification email to me and the email that sends you your audit. These providers process data on my instructions, and some may do so outside the UK under approved transfer safeguards.

If you book a call through Calendly, Calendly's own privacy notice applies to what you enter there.

How long I keep it

12 months from your request, then I delete it. You can ask me to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of it. Email contact@aidar.design and I will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
